We finally made the big leap with having children, to getting a dog. We found her on KSL free of charge which is even better if the dog thing doesn't work for our family. She is a Pointer/Black Lab mix. She has more pointer features!
The girls have been wanting one for awhile, and Mj finally decided it was time and found her on his own. She is very nice and fun to play with, but she still has the puppy energy level which is sometimes hard! She is doing really well and picking up quickly with certain commands and potty training. Well let you know how it goes.
Lyndsey is already really good buddies with her as you can tell. She just loves "Okie".

She is way cute! I still think you should take Nightlee too. Wouldn't two dogs be so fun???
Tell me, do you still like having the dog? My kids want to get a dog after we've moved and I am considering it. They would also settle for a hampster, but....personally, I'd rather our pet did not look like a rodent. Oakley is really pretty! Congratulations on your new arrival.
I've been meaning to comment on your blog how I am jealous of all your cute pictures. That's so fun that MJ can take them all and to have that resource. In answer to your question, we aren't finding out what we are having. we haven't on any of them. But we were greatly tempted this time.
